Kathy, always friendly and generous, did for many years contribute greatly to the Sandhurst Chapter summer gatherings by baking numerous cakes and desserts: it was worth attending just to sample these great gifts from her to the chapter members, families and guests. 

Kathy was also good enough to respond to the Toast to the Ladies at one of my Ladies' Festival evenings.
